As the first manifacturer to bring direct injection to medium-sized diesel engines, we succeeded in achieving not only better fuel economy and reliability, but also lower emissions than ever before. The increase in engine displacement significantly boosted horsepower and torque. And great fuel economy and clean-burning power result from the overhead camshaft and refinements in the direct injection system. Engine service life has also been extended to cut maintenance costs. At ISUZU, we know the bottom-line in a dependable and efficient engine that is gentle on the environment.

SOPHISTICATED DESIGN. The cab's rounded corners cut wind resistance to improve performance and the large windshield promotes better visibility. Wide side mirrors provide an excellent view of the rear.
EASY MAINTENANCE. Isuzu puts special emphasis on simplifying the upkeep and care of your trucks. That's why most routine maintenance can be carried out through the front access panel.
EASY CAB ACCESS. The 85-degree wide door opening as well as the integral blister fender make for easy access to the cab even in the tightest space or the busiest traffic.
INSTRUMENT PANEL. The instrument panel is designed to quickly and clearly communicate information to the driver. The gauges are carefully positioned for easy scanning of their enlarged symbols.
TILT CAB DESIGN. For easy access to the engine making routine checking and maintenance quick and easy as possible.
DIRECT-INJECTION ENGINE. The 6-cylinder inline direct injection engine takes advantage of the Overhead Cam (OHC) design which improves intake and exhaust for smoother airflow. The result is superior torque and power.
IMPROVED SAFETY. Driver and passenger safety is the primary concern and the high-tensile strength steel cab and tough beams inside both doors ensure superior resistance against frontal impact forces.
SPACIOUS CABIN. The extended cab height accommodates the tallest drivers. It has been ergonomically designed to reduce fatigue during long hauls or even during city driving.
